[13a-N406-8] New Carrier Doping Method for Ni(dmit)2 salt with Solid State Ion-exchange

We have successfully synthesized a Li salt, which is constructed by [Ni(dmit)2] and supramolecular cations consisting of Li+ and crown ethers. The Li salt shows a solid state ion-exchange property in which Li+ ions are completely exchanged with metal ions when immersed in an aqueous solution containing the metal ions. In this study, we aimed to achieve hole doping of the [Ni(dmit)2] layer by inducing electron transfer from [Ni(dmit)2] molecules to the electron-accepting Cu2+, introduced into Li salt through the solid state ion-exchange property.
