We are focusing on "Neuromorphic System with Thin-Film Memdevices" aiming at brain-type computers at the device level. 3D stacked integration systems can be developed by amorphous metal-oxide-semiconductor thin-film devices, and unnecessary control circuits can be reduced by local autonomous learning mimicking the living brain. Particularly in this presentation, we will introduce the research and development of the neuromorphic system with the thin-film memdevices, and explain in detail spike-timing-dependent-plasticity (STDP) devices, which is published as the latest paper.
