[13p-N105-5] Subharmonic Injection Locking Properties of Resonant Tunneling Diode Terahertz Oscillator

Resonant tunneling diode (RTD) terahertz oscillators have attracted much attention as a compact terahertz light source operating at room temperature. In this study, we investigated subharmonic injection locking in detail. In the experiment, we injected light with a frequency around one-half of the oscillation frequency into the RTD and measured the oscillation spectrum of the RTD. In the presentation, we will discuss the measurement results in terms of phase stabilization and locking range.
