[13p-N206-5] Three-dimensional dose evaluation in proton therapy using a polymer-gel dosimeter

Recent advanced and high-precision hadron therapy has provided very complicated dose distributions. However, the dose confirmation before the treatment has partially been done through one- or two-dimensional measurements with phantoms in the manner of dose sampling measurements. Thus, hadron therapy has basically been performed based on the accuracy and reliability of the treatment planning and irradiation techniques. In this study, we have evaluated a three dimensional dose distribution provided by the four-field proton irradiation using a polymer-gel dosimeter.
