Lightweight and wideband electromagnetic wave absorbing materials are strongly required for the advancement of communication in the fields of space, aviation, and mobility, as well as for the development of mobile electronic devices using the fifth generation of communication. In this study, an ultralight electromagnetic wave absorbing material with a bulk density of 10 mg/cm3 was fabricated by compositing CNTs with cellulose. By varying the amount of CNTs added to the ultralight material, we investigated how the electromagnetic wave absorption performance changes in a wide range of frequency bands (C, X, Ku, K, Ka, and W bands).
