We are focusing on the nano-photoisomerization of photochromic diarylethene crystals in order to create functional devices with advanced decision-making capabilities based on the interaction between light and matter. In this study, we have experimentally clarified the basic properties of nano-photo-transparent pathways formed by chain photo-isomerization of colored diarylethene single crystals by local excitation with near-field light.
