The objective of this study is to develop an electromagnetic actuator that concurrently realizes two working functions of vibration suppression and energy regeneration. In this paper, in order to eliminate the displacement sensors, an algorithm for estimating the displacements of the actuator and the controlled object from the acceleration signals and the electromotive force signal is discussed, and the effect for the vibration control is examined.
