[21a-P05-1] Light Shift Measurement Method using Photodiode Array Applicable to Chip Scale Atomic Clocks

In this paper, we propose a novel light-shift measurement method in vapor-cell based atomic clocks. Since the laser beam to observe the atomic resonance has a Gaussian light intensity distribution, we use an photodiodes (PDs) array to observe the light intensity distribution separately. The atomic resonance observed at each PD can be observed a resonance frequency that includes the light shift caused by different light intensity due to the intensity distribution of the laser. Therefore, the light shift can be estimated from the difference of the resonance frequency at each PD.
