[21p-P06-3] C2 organic molecules generated from CO₂ by laser induced chemical reactions in water

Organic molecules were produced from CO2 in the primitive Earth. Experimental simulations for organic molecule production have been conducted. However, organic molecule formation from CO2 by pulsed laser irradiation is difficult. Here, we succeeded in the C2 organic molecule formation by laser irradiation of CO2 saturated ultrapure water. The formation mechanism will be also discussed in the presentation.
