Thin film β-tungsten (β-W) has attracted extensive attention due to its giant spin Hall angle with promising applications in spintronics. In this work, we build upon our previous work in synthesizing X-ray pure β-W thin films and report on experimental valence band measurements using photoelectron spectroscopy.
