Keywords:anomalous Nernst effect

Previous studies have suggested that the thermoelectric conversion efficiency of the anomalous Nernst effect may be proportional to the perpendicular magnetic anisotropy energy. In this study, multilayer films of Tb and Co having the same composition ratio as TbCo alloys were formed, we aimed to improve the thermoelectric conversion efficiency by increasing the perpendicular magnetic anisotropy energy. When the thermoelectric conversion efficiency and the perpendicular magnetic anisotropy energy were estimated, it was clarified that the thermoelectric conversion efficiency of the alloy films was larger than that of multilayers even though the perpendicular magnetic anisotropy energy was small.
