[22p-P01-7] Effect of Hydrogen Ion Doses and Sample Temperature on Hydrogenation of Mg Oxide
Keywords:microwave excited hydrogen plasma, Magnesium hydride, Sample temperature
Sodium borohydride (NaBH4) is attracting attention for regeneratable powdered hydrogen carrier. Here, MgH2 is important for regeneration from the by-products of the hydrogenation reaction to NaBH4 and becomes Mg oxide after reaction. To hydrogenate Mg oxides with microwave-excited hydrogen plasma, we investigated the ion doses and sample temperature. In this study, we investigated the plasma treatment by suppressing the maximum temperature of sample. It is expected that the ion doses and suppressed sample temperature will be optimized to produce the MgH2.
