[22p-P02-9] Domain wall motion in flat magnetic wire created by laser sweep
Keywords:magnetic wire
For the practical use of magnetic wire memory, it is necessary to reduce the drive power, increase the speed, and lower the cost. In general magnetic wire fabrication, expensive microfabrication techniques are used, resulting in rough edges, which is considered to be an obstacle to driving magnetic walls. In order to solve this problem, Toyota Technological Institute has proposed an inexpensive nanoimprinting method to fabricate magnetic wires, which has reduced the roughness of the wire edges. In this paper, we propose an even simpler method to fabricate magnetic wires by sweeping a laser beam over a flat magnetic thin film.
