Keywords:self-assembled monolayer, diamond nano particules

The self-assembled silane coupling agent (SAM) film was deposited on the aluminum film of the quartz crystal oscillator, and then immersed in the aqueous dispersion of diamond nanoparticles (DNP). When immersed in 2.5×10-3wt% of the aqueous dispersion of DNP,the amount of DNP adsorbed on the amino group-terminated SAM was significantly higher than that on the vinyl group-terminated SAM and carboxy group-terminated SAM . Since the film thickness of the underlying amino group-terminated SAM itself increased, the thickness of the SAM film and the SAM terminal functional group ionized in the aqueous dispersion are considered to be responsible for the amount of DNP adsorbed.
