[22p-P04-14] Immobilization of π-conjugated polymer nanoparticle on anodic aluminum oxide and particle size control by aluminium ion

Polymer nanoparticles (SNPs) are created by heat mixing of 1,5-dihydroxynaphothalene and hexamethylenetetramine in a water–ethanol mixed-solution due to addition condensation polymerization. By soaking anodic aluminum oxide (AAO) in the heated mixed solution, SNPs were immobilized on the AAO surface with forming nanoparticles. Stacking of SNPs on the surface induced Lotus effect. Therefore, the water repellency and the acid resistance of AAO were enhanced. The particle size of SNPs was enlarged with an increase of addition amount of aluminum ion in the solution. It was demonstrated that the particle size of SNPs could be controlled by the concentration of aluminum ion in the solution.
