[22p-P06-5] Time-resolved analysis of OLED operation by extended time domain reflectometry

Time variation of carrier distribution in an organic light-emitting diode (OLED) was observed by our extended time domain reflectometry (ExTDR). In the ExTDR, we obtained instantaneous impedance of OLED by monitoring the transmission wave of the rectangular incident wave. Under the application of – 5 V reverse bias, holes in the hole transport layer were exhausted toward the anode side by the applied electric field. We observed that the hole frontline moved backward with increasing elapsed time.
