Many organic thin-film devices have multilayer structures, and it is necessary to consider not only the thermal conductivity of the semiconductor layers but also the interfacial thermal resistance between each layer when evaluating their thermal transport properties.
In this paper, we report that acetonitrile treatment of the surface of poly(3-hexylthiophene)P3HT thin film affects the interfacial thermal resistance of the subsequent bilayer film consisting of polymer insulator layer and polymer semiconductor layer.
