[23p-P02-8] Hydrothermal Synthesis for ZnAl2O4

This study successfully fabricated ZnAl2O4 by hydrothermal synthesis technique. This fabrication technique can be applicable for the continuous synthesis with using flow-type reaction system of hydrothermal reaction, since the precursor is stable liquid solution. This advantage enables us to prepare ZnAl2O4 with high homogeneity at high temperature. In addition, our technique is basically applicable for the other spinel oxide synthesis. Especially, it is useful for synthesizing MAl2O4 (M: transition metal) series which is difficult to fabricate by typical hydrothermal synthesis.
