[23p-P14-3] Recognition of referring signs in polymer articles

Recognition of polymer referring signs in polymer articles was examined to extract polymer data from sentences. In polymer articles, ”the polymer” and ”the sample” are generally used as referring signs; however, ”the gel” and ”the membrane”, which represent polymer form and function, and “BBCP”, which is an abbreviation, are also frequently used as referring signs. In this study, automatic recognition of referring signs using the word dictionary for referring signs created by a rule-base method was examined. The details will be reported in this presentation.
