Structurally achiral nanoantennas have recently attracted attention as CPL emitters by externally breaking the mirror symmetry through excitation or detection geometry. Cathodoluminescence (CL) combined with scanning transmission electron microscope (STEM) can break the mirror symmetry of measurement system in the x-y, y-z, z-x plane, and enable electric field mapping with high resolution. In this presentation, we demonstrate chiral light emission even from a sphere, or the most symmetric structure, as well as visualization of relative phase distributions using a newly developed fully polarimetric 4-dimensional STEM-CL.
