By simultaneously measuring the intensity and phase of light, it is possible to analyze the more detailed interaction between light and sample, such as refractive index and thickness, and to improve the functionality of optical microscopes. This time, we have developed an optical frequency comb microscope with a transmission arrangement that enables high sensitivity by laser focusing using an optical frequency comb as a light source and simultaneous acquisition of spectral information of light intensity and phase. As a result, it was clarified that the transmittance characteristics of the sample can be measured simultaneously in the amplitude image and the phase modulation characteristics can be measured simultaneously in the phase image.
