△ [16a-Z20-2] Light-induced ESR spectroscopy and device deterioration mechanism of ternary PTzBT polymer solar cells
Keywords:Organic solar cell, Electron spin resonance, Deterioration mechanism
Polymer solar cells have been extensively studied because of its low-cost, large-area production, and flexible characteristics. Recently, the power conversion efficiencies (PCEs) of polymer solar cells has been greatly improved. However, the internal degradation mechanism has not yet been completely clarified. Inverted-type polymer solar cells using PTzBT have attracted much attention because of their high PCEs and durability by adding ITIC to the active layer. In this study, we report electron spin resonance (ESR) spectroscopy of PTzBT:ITIC:PC61BM polymer solar cells to investigate the deterioration mechanism and the effect of ITIC on the device performance from a microscopic viewpoint.
