[16a-Z20-5] [The 18th Molecular Electronics and Bioelectronics Division Award Speech] Exploring Efficient Photoconversion System at Organic Semiconductor Interface
Keywords:Organic semiconductor, Interface, Charge separation and recombination
The most important photoconversion processes in organic solar cells, such as charge separation and recombination, occur near donor/acceptor interface. Therefore, the nanostructures near the interface dominate the performance of organic solar cells. In this presentation, the details of the relationships between the interfacial characteristics, photoconversion and the performance organic solar cell will be described. In addition, a novel photon upconversion mechanism at the interface using charge separation and recombination processes will be presented.
