[16a-Z34-11] SIMS measurement of nitrobenzylpyridinium salts using size-selected cluster ion beams

Molecular cluster irradiation has been reported to change the secondary ion yields of organic molecules during sputtering. In this study, in order to understand the mechanism of desorption and ionization of organic molecules by molecular cluster irradiation, we measured SIMS spectra of benzylpyridinium salts, whose molecular decomposition process and dissociation energy are known, using Ar and heavy water clusters as primary ions, and compared the cluster size dependence of the spectra.
