[16p-Z01-3] High-throughput Experiments and Informatics for Accelerating Discovery of New Electrolytes for Lithium-ion Batteries

In this research, we have developed an automated robotic experimental system that enables high-throughput evaluation of materials for lithium ion batteries. By utilizing this system, the searching throughput more than 1000 samples per a day is achieved. Furthermore, the application of data scientific method, such as searching algorism and Bayesian optimization to a large amount of acquired experimental data-set obtained through the operation of automated robotic experimental system, accelerates the discovery of new electrolyte composition for lithium ion batteries.
