It is difficult that simultaneous measurements of polarization states and spectroscopy. Polarization gratings formed by periodically modulated molecular alignments is a candidate to realize the simultaneous measurements because that possesses both wavelength dispersion in the diffraction angle and the diffraction characteristics depending on the incident polarization. In this study, we propose an specific ring-type polarization gratings formed by periodic molecular alignment. We report on the diffraction characteristics targeted for the simultaneous measurements.
