Keywords:Optical enhancement cavity, Laser-Compton light source

An optical enhancement cavitiy is a key device to increase the brightness of laser-Compton-based X-ray sources. Although high-finesse cavities can provide the laser storage with a high enhancement factor, maintaining the cavity resonance in accelerator facilities is often difficult due to large environmental noise. We proposed and have been developing a new scheme to accumulate the laser beam into the enhancement cavity named self-resonating optical enhancement cavity, which is not composed with an electronic feedback circuit for maintaing the cavity resonance. In this talk, we will show the development results of the self-resonating cavities by single longitudinal mode operation and mode-locked operation.
