In this paper, distribution of electric field generated from powder bed in silo was investigated using finite element method. Volume charge density was taken for powders into account from charge mass ratio of it and other experimental parameters. As for the results, the area near to the wall of silo which powders are accumulated is the strongest of electric field, followed in order by the wall of silo at powder surface and the center of it. Moreover, it was confirmed that electrostatic discharges were generated at the beginning of powder input (about 5 kg).
