[16p-Z14-4] Analysis of the reactivity of iron phthalocyanine thin films grown on passivated silicon surfaces
Keywords:organic thin films, photoelectron spectroscopy, water vapor
Iron phthalocyanine (FePc) has drawn considerable interest as a catalytist for the oxygen reduction reaction (ORR). To our knowledge, reactivity of the organic thin films in the ambient pressure regime has not been studied intensively. In the present work, we investigated the reactivity of FePc thin films against water vapor using high resolution photoelectron spectroscopy with synchrotron radiation. We report on the changes in the electronic states upon water exposure in detail.
