[16p-Z16-14] Detection of Fluorescently Labeled Nucleic Acids on DNA Microarrays in Unwashed
Keywords:DNA microarray, Fluorescence, Nucleic acid
DNA microarrays have been used for genetic testing. After hybridization reactions between fluorescently labeled nucleic acids and probes, unreacted labeled nucleic acids away from probes is in solution. Fluorescence from the unreacted labeled nucleic acids interfere with observations of fluorescence at the probe position. We added substances that absorb the fluorescence from the label to the hybridizing solution. As a result, we proposed a method for observing the fluorescence at the probe position without washing by reducing the fluorescence in the solution.
