[16p-Z20-4] Tetragonal-orthorhombic mixed crystalline structure of CH₃NH₃PbI₃ prepared by alternate laser deposition

We have been studying the formation of CH₃NH₃PbI₃ (MAPbI₃) by alternate laser deposition of PbI₂ and CH₃NH₃I (MAI) to elucidate the growth mechanism and realize the structural control of MAPbI₃. The MAPbI₃ fabricated in this study has a specific structure that contains the orthorhombic phase, which usually appears below 161 K, and the mixed ratio of the tetragonal and orthorhombic phases systematically varies with the thickness of the PbI₂ layer. We will discuss the correlation between the layered structure and the properties of the thin films.
