[16p-Z28-10] Measurements of 57.6 keV X-rays with MPPC scintillation detector using HfO2-PLS:
its properties with different MPPC pixel sizes

We produced an X-ray scintillation detector with HfO2 nanoparticle-loaded plastic scintillator, which has a Geiger-mode avalanche photodiode (MPPC) as photodetector. Its properties were evaluated with different pixel sizes of MPPC, using 57.6-keV X-rays which energy is the same as the excited level of I-127. We measured the pulse height and time spectra, and also the count rate against the input photon rate.
