[17a-Z05-7] Adaptive radiative cooling based on dielectric metasurface mediated by VO2

In recent years, adaptive radiative cooling devices have been proposed by plasmonic metasurface (PMS) using vanadium dioxide (VO2), which is known as a metal / insulator phase transition material. We proposed a radiative cooling device with a silicon metasurface on a VO2 thin film and reported switching of absorption spectra. In this study, we measured thermal radiation spectra of this device and experimentally confirmed the switching operation before and after the transition temperature.
