Recently, in the medical field, inspection technology using 3D X-ray CT imaging technology is rapidly advancing. Photon-counting X-ray CT can capture images with low noise and identify the material of the internal structure of an object by discriminating the energy of X-ray photons. In order to organize and understand the necessary information for medical professionals from the increased amount of information, a system was developed that adds AR technology to 3D X-ray CT imaging. That allows intuitive understanding of the data, and can be used with devices such as smartphones. As a result, by using AR technology, user can check any cross-sectional image of the object from 2π angle (check the inside of the object from any angle and depth direction), and can intuitively understand the inside of the object that is difficult to observe with the human eye.
