We derive classically a set of boundary conditions on lattice dynamics in magneto-elastic systems. The resultant equations of stress balance at the interfaces are a natural extension of the conventional theory of elasticity, depends on magnetization, and is applicable to any spin-lattice Hamiltonian as well as boundaries of arbitrary shapes. To exemplify its benefit we apply our formalism to planer and curvilinear geometries, revealing nontrivial magnetization angle dependence of pumped acoustic waves. The natural extension of continuum mechanics allows transfer of knowledge from fields such as seismology and ultrasonics for a better understanding of the spintronics with phonons.
