本論文ではスマート水道メータの研究をしている。回路と超音波トランスデューサを用いて水中に超音波を伝搬させ、その伝搬時間から流量値を計測する超音波式流量計測システムをCMOS集積回路により実現する。伝搬時間を測定する際に速さが異なるクロック信号を二つ用いることにより、十分な精度と低消費電力を実現できることを確認した。
