Keywords:Graphene, polymerization, soft X-ray irradiation

To synthesize graphene nanoribbons, the soft X-ray irradiation effect in the polymerization reaction was investigated by comparing the characteristics of the soft X-ray irradiated and the thermal treated films. Although the graphene film was also synthesized even only the thermal treated sample, the orientation was low. The polymerization reaction was considered to be enhanced by the photoelectron transfer reaction by soft X-ray excitation and the supply of excited electrons from the Ni under film. In addition, it was suggested that the supply of excited electrons also affects the orientation of graphene.
