[17p-P03-2] Study on the optimal conditions of pulsed light source for high resolution

We have constructed an optical fiber temperature sensing system based on the cross-correlation of picosecond optical pulses and have performed high-resolution temperature measurement. In order to improve the system, we aimed to shorten the measurement time (from 30 seconds to 10 seconds), but we confirmed that the resolution decreased with the shortening. In this study, we report on the optimum conditions of the pulsed light source to maintain the high resolution even with the shortened measurement time.
