[17p-P10-4] In-situ measurement of radiative recombination in organic solar cell
Keywords:Organic solar cells, Recombination
Charge transfer (CT) state recombination that causes voltage loss in organic solar cells includes radiative and non-radiative recombination. Radiative recombination was observed in-situ to predict the current-voltage characteristics excluding non-radiative recombination. Steep CT quenching was observed near the open circuit voltage as a result of the voltage dependence of the CT emission of a typical bulk heterojunction organic solar cell. From this result, the ideal current-voltage curve of an organic solar cell can be predicted.
