[17p-Z08-3] Optical Secure Computing towards a Safe and Secure Super-smart Society

In this talk, a secure computing method is presented as a novel research direction in optical computing. By fully exploiting the optical wave characteristics, the tamper resistance of optical circuits can be improved. This enables to push past the limits of the tamper resistance in conventional CMOS-based integrated circuits. A case study using integrated nanophotonics is presented.
