[17p-Z11-1] In-operando Observation of Lithium Ion Migration in Lithium Battery by ToF-ERD

The depth distributions of lithium (Li) concentrations near each Au/LiCoO2/LATP and Pt/LATP interface in an all-solid-state Li+ ion battery (Au/LiCoO2/Li1.4Al0.4Ge0.7Ti0.9P3O12(LATP)/Pt) were in-operando observed with reliable depth resolution in a few nm scale by applying various voltages in a vacuum using Time-of-Flight Elastic Recoil Detection (ToF-ERD) with 9.0-MeV Cu10+ ion-probe beams. It made a possible to clarify well the Li+ ion migration from the LiCoO2 positive electrode to LATP negative one during the applied voltages and the static Li concentrations around their interfaces.
