ドレスト光子に対する測定理論に関する最近の進展について本講演では発表を行う。ドレスト光子を量子場として記述する際に重要な概念が「オフシェル」であり，分散関係に従う＝「オンシェル」とはかけ離れた性質を示す状況を意味する。そのような系に対する測定理論をC^*-代数上の「完全正値インストルメント」を用いて記述し，先行研究との違いについて説明を行う。
