In this study, we will improve the voltage measurement circuit for optically-powered microdevices.
For the circuit that measures the voltage generated by a micro solar cell and charged in a capacitor, a micro solar cell separate from the power supply for driving the load was previously used to generate the reference voltage for switching. However, this would result in a light-dependent reference voltage. Therefore, we improved the method to generate the reference voltage in the internal circuit. The evaluation of the system is discussed.
