Depth information on cancerous tissues concealed in healthy tissues is of great importance for diagnosis and treatment, which the existing surface imaging technique can bring a little. The cancer identification using scattering of circularly polarized light that we have suggested can obtained the depth information by manipulating the detection angle which can change the sampling depth. Reported in this paper is that depth measurements of cancer in situ were investigated with Monte Carlo methods.
