[18p-P06-25] Effect of dopant concentration on photoluminescence and scintillation properties of KBr:Tl single crystals

Tlを添加したアルカリハライドはTl⁺イオンのスピン禁制・パリティ許容の³P₁→¹S₀遷移に由来する高量子収率・短寿命な蛍光を示すことが報告されており、その発光波長は一般的な光電子増倍管の波長感度に適するものが多い。本研究ではこれまでシンチレータとしてあまり検討されていない材料であるTl添加KBr単結晶に着目し、様々なTl濃度 (0.1, 0.3, 0.5, 1%) のKBr単結晶の蛍光およびシンチレーション特性を評価した。
