将来の日本の研究を支える人材を確保することが重要な課題となっています。応用物理学を学び、この分野の研究者を志す若者を増やすにはどうすれば良いのでしょうか？本講演では、中高理科教員になるための教職課程制度に着目し、工学系分野出身の理科教員が生まれにくいという問題を指摘した「応用物理学会は理科教員を輩出しているか？」（応用物理、第88巻、第1号（2019））に執筆した内容についてお話しいたします。
