[18p-Z07-7] Detection and control of nuclear spins using NV centers in diamond
Keywords:Quantum sensing, Spintronics
The nitrogen-vacancy (NV) center in diamond is an optically-active paramagnetic defect consisting of a substitutional nitrogen and a vacancy adjacent to it. The NV spin can be initialized and read out optically, and possesses a long coherence time in bulk, making it a platform for quantum technology such as quantum sensing, network, and computing. In this presentation, I will discuss the current status of quantum sensing using single NV centers, in particular in its application to nanoscale nuclear magnetic resonance.
