[18p-Z18-11] Synthesis of Carbon Materials by Combination Process of Cavitation and Plasma in Organic Solution

Keywords:plasma in liquid, synthesis of carbon material, cavitation

Carbon nanoparticles were synthesized by plasma generated with high-speed xylene flow including cavitation bubbles. The synthesized carbon particles showed Raman spectrum due to the presence of polyyne structure. Also, tubular particles were observed by TEM. Because these structures were not observed in the carbon particles synthesized without cavitation, the flow with cavitation bubbles probably modified the reaction field where the synthesize occurred.
