Microwaves are indispensable in wireless communication that is active in our daily life, and they also will be applied to wireless electric power transmission. They propagate not only along straight lines between transmitters and receivers but also on different paths in space. However, the controllability for propagation paths is quite poor, without any active regulation methods. Here, we demonstrate absorption, scattering and cloaking in microwave propagation using plasma-metamaterial composite, which is designed and verified experimentally in this study.
