In quantum optics, it is essential to precisely control the amplitude and phase of optical beams to achieve a high visibility for the interferometric detection of light. We demonstrate the precise spatial matching of two beams by integrating spatial light modulation and phase-shifting digital holography. The spatially-resolved phase difference between two beams and their intensity profiles are measured for controlling the amplitude and phase of one of the beams to achieve a high visibility of 98.6%.
